Learning Outcomes (LOs)
Learning outcomes include understanding the role of pollinators from the 2010 UNEP report, basics of beekeeping history and setup, hive types and functions, the honey bee lifecycle and hive roles, and managing bee parasites and diseases. Students will learn hive management techniques, honey processing, sustainable versus conventional beekeeping, and a bee-centered approach to beekeeping.
