Learning Outcomes (LOs)
Learning outcomes include explaining environmental terminology, describing the role of water quality, and understanding the effects of human activity on the environment. Students will also explain the role of biodiversity, review the Wildlife Act, describe a habitat using appropriate tools, and prepare an environmental survey.

Upon completion, participants will receive a QQI NFQ Level 5 minor award in Fruit & Vegetable Production.
Duration
10 weeks (2 evenings online and a limited number of Saturdays)
This module will equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to value the natural environment as a sustainable resource.
