Understanding thepolicy framework for environmental and biodiversity protection in Ireland, Examine techniques available for the management of sites to promote biodiversity and evaluate factors influencing population dynamics and community composition. Ability to report on a range of environmental features such as plant ID, hedgerow assessment & water quality.

Duration
160 hours (10 weeks)
To equip the participants with the knowledge, skill and competence to assist in management of the natural environment. The short term course specilaizes in reviewing EU & national legislation around land-use and biodiversity.
